Romantik Landhotel Knippschild in Kallenhardt

Very good food! Best address far and wide.

A few weeks ago we went to dinner with several people at the Knippschild restaurant in Rüthen-Kallenhard. Unfortunately, this is not possible right now because of Corona, so I remember our stay all the better. Attentive service despite many guests. The interior is in a neat Sauerland country hotel style. Kitchen, as always, very good. Who e.g. I also like game dishes, especially in the cold autumn and winter time. The term Westphalian regional cuisine roughly describes what is on offer. Everything is fresh, homemade and so lightly arranged that there is still some space in the stomach for a small dessert. Large numbers of good parking spaces directly at the house. Overall, very recommendable, a longer journey is worthwhile. Excursions to the neighboring Wahrstein (brewery visits are possible, except now because of Corona) or to Brilon are possible. If you want to stay overnight, you can do so in the same house. I like to quarter my customers and visitors there.

Excellent kitchen.

Cozy little hotel in a rather remote but nice place. Tasteful rooms with everything you need. A highlight is the kitchen. We had the very recommendable half board and got an excellent impression of the skills of the chef. Everything very fresh and homemade. Also a very delicious breakfast with everything, including sparkling wine, what your heart desires. Warm and competent staff. In short, a place to feel good.

Everything fits here. From the friendly greeting to the very tastefully furnished rooms and the extremely courteous and very friendly ladies in the breakfast room and in the restaurant, the wonderfully good and delicious food (cheers for the cook), the super massage and the beautiful sauna area. Five stars are not enough, I'll add at least two more Only one thing was not so nice, unfortunately we were only in this beautiful hotel for three days. Thank you very much for everything, everything was great. We keep our fingers crossed, get out of this crazy pandemic time.

We have been enjoying our stay for many years, this time with family and our dog. Despite the general tense time due to Corona everywhere, it is an oasis here and we have ours Enjoyed short break to the fullest. Three days at Knippschild are enough and we are strengthened for him exhausting everyday life! The prospect of being able to spend wonderful, relaxing days here in the future is increasing the mood and the anticipation for the next time, because everything fits here!

It was a very nice stay in this wonderful hotel again! The rooms are very cozy and have a great bathroom! The cuisine is fantastic - the Wiener Schnitzel is particularly recommended! And the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired with its many delicacies! We are looking forward to the next time! 😊

Always friendly, everything clean and excellent food 👍

The interior design of this hotel is just perfect. You feel comfortable in this house from the first minute. The house has an excellent kitchen that pampers every palate. Particularly noteworthy is the staff, we were given excellent advice and our intolerances were taken into consideration and dishes were changed accordingly. I can recommend this hotel 100%.

Good weekend without stress

Food absolutely great hotel room bathroom super renovated room not so great from the super friendliness as in the other reviews we didn't experience so much. The boss was not even there to ask about the food and the location is not that great right on a busy street

A very pleasant stay. Suitable for relaxing in the existing sauna, nice hikes! The dishes are very good! Oh, the Rabenbräu from the barrel tastes good. We stayed in the "Keiler" suite. Always happy again. Kind regards to the nice staff. :-))

We have been here 4 or 5 times now and I think it feels like "coming home". A warm and family atmosphere, comfortably furnished rooms, great breakfast and a great evening menu! And when Chef Klaus then praised his game menu on the last evening with the words "I'm really into it today", you shouldn't think twice - we were absolutely thrilled! Many thanks to the entire Knippschild team, who spoiled us here every evening and made our stay a successful break. We will definitely be happy to come back!

We are now the second time within a month in the Land Romantik Hotel Knippschild and can only report good things. Beautiful rooms, very dog-friendly, very friendly and courteous staff and the food, just great 🤗 You could hardly get better ... ❤️

As always, we (one person two dogs) felt very comfortable. Very friendly staff in a cozy and attractively furnished house. Although dogs are welcome, and not only tolerated, it is always clean. The food was excellent as always, in my opinion the game dishes are particularly recommended. Unfortunately, the sauna area was closed due to the corona problem. From previous visits I can describe it as very inviting, especially after a long hike.

Best German/regional restaurant in the Greater Warstein area. The somewhat above average price tag is more then worth it. Serve some proper local game. Staff is friendly.

Great hotel, warm and friendly team, modern rooms with a rustic touch (fits very well!), Parking right outside the door, great food and a nice spa area. Be sure to try the homemade jam for breakfast!

Beautiful place to come with your family

Lovely place in a beautiful location. Everyone was very nice, the food was excellent, and our dogs were welcome in the room and the restaurant. They were even given treats for the night. :)
